The Well at Oxon Run
When Community Dreams Together
Nestled in Oxon Run Park in Ward 8, The Well at Oxon Run is DC Greens’ one-acre community farm and wellness space. The site promotes healing in green spaces by hosting on-site programming that aims to improve food access and wellness in the local community.
Complete with 20,000 square feet of farming space dedicated to seasonal crop production, large community convening spaces, and an outdoor classroom, The Well at Oxon Run welcomes all community members to work in the soil, celebrate, and share experiences together.
The Well at Oxon Run is always free and open to the public. Our open season runs annually from March through October.
Free street parking is available but limited. Visitors are encouraged to carpool.
Seasonal Hours (March–October):
The Well at Oxon Run offers public programming on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, as well as Friday evenings during the summer months.

The Well at Oxon Run has finished its third growing season. Each year we continue to reconnect with partners, establish new relationships, and collaborate to bring unique programming and events to the space. We also change our crops and rotate our fields. These annual changes are not solely determined by the DC Greens team. They also reflect feedback from the community about what you desire to see offered at The Well at Oxon Run.
