You can use your Produce Rx Fresh Connect card at Arcadia Mobile Market, Costco, Giant Food, Harris Teeter, Safeway, Walmart, and Capital Area Food Bank’s Curbside Groceries Truck. Use the look-up tool below to find the store nearest to you.
Many great local organizations offer even more food resources that Produce Rx participants can tap into. Open our Food Resource Guide to find even more ways to access fresh, healthy food near you.
Participants in Produce Rx are required to check in with their health care team between the 4th and 6th month of their enrollment in order to remain in the program. This check-in can be virtual or in person. Some examples of providers are a doctor, social worker, nurse practitioner, dietitian, or case manager. Click below to see when your required check-ins are.
Produce Rx is more than just a benefit to receive healthy food. It’s a program to help you manage your chronic diseases with fresh fruit and veggies. It is also an opportunity to work with your healthcare team to take charge of your health! Prepare for your doctor’s appointment and feel confident in bringing up any concerns or questions. Join the Produce Rx team for a virtual monthly “Office Hour” with Carolina Moppett, Produce Rx Coordinator. Participants are invited to call in and ask questions, share information and build community. The time and date of the office hours will be announced via text each month.
