Did you know that our community farm, The Well at Oxon Run, has a Little Library? Located just outside the Memory Gate entrance at The Well, community members can find a Little Library stocked with free books to take and enjoy.

In order to make this possible, DC Greens proudly partners with local educational institutions and organizations to ensure readers of all ages can find books to spark their imaginations and nurture their love of reading.

Recently, DC Greens partnered with Ello, an award-winning kids’ reading app company, to stock hundreds of children’s books in the Library, just in time for Back to School Month. You can find classics like Arthur’s Eyes by Marc Brown, Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, and more.

Next time you walk the Oxon Run Park trail running alongside The Well, be sure to stop by the Library and rifle through. And don’t forget: we encourage you to leave a book, too. That way, you can join us in spreading the love of reading to our neighbors and community.
