“Southern-Inspired”: A Top 9 Allergen-Free Cooking Class

A cooking class that inspires!

Join FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) for “Deliciously Safe,” a top 9 allergen-free cooking series!

This first class — “Southern-Inspired” — features a delectable black-eyed pea and collard green salad with a sweet jerk-style vinaigrette that is guaranteed to have your mouth watering. The session features a live cooking demo, a sample to taste, and the recipe to take home. This class is hosted at The Well at Oxon Run (300 Valley Ave SE), and led by registered dietitian, maternal and pediatric nutrition expert, and founder of The Cardamom Nutrition, Chacha Miller.

This class is FREE and open to participants ages 5 and up. Children 17 or younger must be accompanied by their parent/guardian or by an adult 25+.

Chacha Miller, MS, RD, LDN, is a maternal and pediatric registered dietitian and founder of The Cardamom Nutrition. Her work focuses on making nutrition education practical, inclusive, culturally relevant, and easier to apply in real life. Through cooking classes, community programs, media, and digital resources, she helps families build confidence around food without fear, shame, or unrealistic expectations.
