Introduction To Field Inoculation with Mycrodex

A Beginner’s Guide to Growing Fungi in Soil
Created in March of 2021, Mycrodex began as a personal documentation of fungal cultivation that quickly evolved into an educational platform for mycology and parallel sciences. From edible fermentations utilizing various species, to breeding beetles from homemade substrates, Mycrodex is an exploration of biology and how we fit into the greater world.
This educational introduction to inoculating choice fungi mycelium into soil is an easy and efficient way to step into soil microbiology. Attendees can expect to understand why we choose certain locations for fungal growth, as well as methods to upkeep the immune system of said fungi to produce high yields come harvest time.
This event is open to participants ages 12 and up. Youth 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or an adult 25+.
