Learn how to collect, prep, and “cook” your compost!

Join DC Greens for a 2-part series on how to start your own compost at home using common household items! In this first class, participants will dig into a composting technique known as “lasagna layering,” learning how to ensure your compost has its necessary “greens” and “browns.” At the end of the class, you can collect some of our finished compost to supplement your own at home (while supplies last).

This class is free and beginner-friendly. No prior composting experience is necessary.

Children 8+ are welcome if accompanied by an adult 25 or older. Registration is required.
