(she/her) is DC Greens’ Community Engagement Manager. Before arriving to DC Greens, Ahmad spent almost two decades leading and developing teams in engagement and service work that centers customer experience. Having focused most of her career on creating client-centric solutions, programs, and service approaches, Ahmad is now aiming to get other D.C.-based and nationwide organizations to see the value of a participant-centered approach in program design and outreach methods.
Ahmad is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with a focus on and certifications in leading diverse teams. She believes in the equal value and importance of both formal education and lived experiences as roadmaps to becoming a subject matter expert.
