(she/her) is a first-generation college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Specialization in International Studies from McDaniel College. Guerrero first learned about DC Greens during a college sociology class, where she profiled DC Greens’ programs Produce Rx, Produce Plus, and The Well at Oxon Run and their relationship to food justice. She pivoted her career path to focus on food justice and began volunteering at organizations to make fresh produce accessible during the height of COVID-19. Guerrero previously worked with DC Greens on the Produce Plus program, connecting D.C. residents to farmer’s markets. Now, she serves as The Well at Oxon Run Coordinator, where she helps develop and maintain programs with partners and community members in Ward 8.
Guerrero is also hyper focused on creating community in her personal life. She values the importance of third spaces and can typically be found at her favorite coffee shops and libraries in Prince George’s County with her dear friends. Her other third spaces revolve around being physical — she also loves playing soccer, maintaining a healthy gym relationship, hiking, running, and trying new things like rock climbing and jiujitsu. She is preparing to run her first half marathon in the near future.
