Prior to his role as Education Coordinator, Jordan supported implementation of the Produce Plus Program as DC Greens’ Food Access Fellow. Jordan is completing his master’s degree in Public Health Nutrition at George Washington University. He is passionate about advancing social justice and food equity to combat health disparities in the District. Jordan first became interested in chronic disease prevention during a public health class for his BA in Kinesiology and Nutrition Science at Whittier College. Jordan has also worked with DC Central Kitchen, FoodPrints, and developed a nutrition intervention for 90 fourth grade students in Whittier, California.
