Whitmore Farm is a Certified Organic farm in Frederick County, Maryland, specializing in heritage and American breed livestock, raised on pasture. Will Morrow – a former Georgetown resident! – and Kent Ozkum co-own the farm and are lovely people to chat with at market. They give wonderful ideas for preparing their products and can tell you all about the rare livestock they breed in an environmentally and socially conscious space. Offerings include goat (try serving goat sliders at your next cocktail party!), pork (chops, prosciutto, picnic roasts, and more), pastured heritage chickens, multi-colored chicken eggs, and organic dog treats.
